One for the road

The worst thing about traveling is that it really screws up your caffeine addiction.

It's generally impossible to find coffee that's as strong as you want it, especially at the hotel. Not to mention that the default bean is inevitably Colombian, and the roast is generally so light it tastes like it was done with a refrigerator bulb. So you compensate with quantity, not necessarily a bad thing, except you end up draining the dragon every five minutes later in the day.

Do I exaggerate?

Hey I have to tell you I've been reading a lot of your books over the last few weeks. I had quadruple heart bypass surgery on 4/8/09 and haven't been able to do much but read and watch the Yankees. Your books don't make me as mad as watching the Yankees does. A few life style changes and everybody tells me I am on the road to recovery. Still feel like I was run over by a bus but I do see light at the end of the tunnel. Thanks for putting out the books. They are fun and help pass the time. Are there going to be new ones this year? I check Amazon and BN and I really don't see anything. Hope some new ones are on the way real soon.....Thanks.......Chris.....

Chris - Wow - quad bypass - hope you're getting better. Hang in there.
Re. new books - I have three new ones coming out later this year, all in the fall. I'll do an update soon.

JD, thanks, like I said I am feeling better but it will be a long haul. The books make it a little easier but not the Yanks. I did see on Amazon that there is a new one for you with Larry Bond for November (Larry Bond's Red Dragon Rising: Shadows of War). Does this mean no more First Team books? Hope not as I really enjoyed them.....Have a good one......Chris........
